Song of the day: Charlotte Hatherley - "Bastardo"

Some time ago (May 2010) I mentioned Grey Will Fade, the 2004 debut album by English musician Charlotte Hatherley. Back then I talked about how much I love that album (I love it), and I think it's high time I mentioned it again.

From Grey Will Fade here's "Bastardo", a song in which Charlotte tells a tale of woe:

  1. Loved this song! And you've now posted the two most interesting film clips that I can ever recall seeing - this one and the Kina Grannis one.

    1. Hey, Stonerley: I'm glad you've enjoyed the Charlotte Hatherley and Kina Grannis film clips. (I know that people call them "videos" nowadays, but I'm happy to do as you do and call them what we used to call them in the 1970's: "film clips").

You've inspired me to be brave and play my all-time favourite film clip here in a few days time. It's not Australian, and it's not power pop -- it's not even rock -- but it's the most amazing music video I've ever seen.
